The Reservations Team, led by Beccy Newton are contactable on 08452 60 70 50.  It is her team's task to find the apartment that perfectly suits your needs.  Their knowledge of the company's portfolio and familiarity with the South Wales region ensure that you will have all the information needed to help you make the right apartment choice. 

Beccy and her team will be glad to provide details of specific apartment features, the extra services operated by the company, the most interesting local events and even the best golfing locations!  Should you wish to book your accommodation directly, our online Selection and Booking process is also available on this website via the development pages.

Our Administration & Accounts

Vicki  Jones  manages our Administration and Accounts functions.   As the team member with most experience within the company, Vicki has become the cornerstone of the company and the best person to contact for general queries.

Guest Services & Customer Care

Richard Hine and his team care for guests at the point of their arrival.   A personal check-in is often appreciated, especially for those arriving in an unfamiliar city.  In most cases, one of the team will be on hand to meet you at the entrance to your development address and take you to your apartment.  Would you like some information on local amenities, locations or events?   We'll be happy to help.

Richard spends most of his day out and about so best to contact him on 07791 251 104, typically between 10am and 6pm.

The Maintenance Team

Keith Voisey, with his 16-year background in the building industry, cares for the maintenance needs of each apartment in our portfolio.  Specialist tradespeople are available for major replacement works and out-of-hours emergencies.   From simple lighting checks to full apartment refurbishment, we do our best to ensure that your apartment is fully prepared and trouble-free.  The Maintenance Team can be contacted on 029 2047 3831 during office hours.  The Guest Information folder in every apartment also holds out-of-hours contact details.

 

Our Housekeeping Team

housekeepers imageVivian Epie and her seven-strong team eliminate the housework for you!  During each week of your stay, they will bring you a complete change of professionally laundered bed linen, fresh towels, and give your apartment a thorough clean.  With 17 years experience in top hotels, Vivian's skilful team direction and personal attention to detail mean you can take a welcome rest from the household chores.  For a more frequent cleaning visit than the once-per-week standard, please contact Vivian for further details.

 

Our Company's History

Richard Godfrey, Managing Director, established the company in the Spring of 2005.  Progress since that time has led to it becoming the largest serviced apartment provider in the Principality of Wales, with a portfolio offering a wider range of choice than that of any similar company, or indeed, hotel. 

Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, Richard selects only the most modern and strategically-placed developments to add to the company's portfolio.   New properties are acquired on a continuous basis as these are seen to be desirable for our ever-growing list of guests.

Richard describes his own, and therefore the company's approach to ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

How we care for your needs

At A Space in the City, we constantly seek the opinion of our guests on the provisions we make for their comfort and convenience.  An example of this is the Feedback Form you will find in your apartment.  Your comments on our services will be welcome (and may even earn you a prize in our Monthly Draw!).  As a result of noting comments made by guests, you will find your apartment is provided with such items as complementary drinks sachets, steam iron and board, a Guest Folder containing a wealth of local visitor information, and a full range of crockery, cutlery and cookware.  We have also developed a range of Additional Services to further improve your time away.                                    

The standards we work to

Our standards of personal service, value for the price paid, and cleanliness of premises are equivalent to the five star rating operated by VisitWales.  Extra choice for our guests is offered in the four Award Standards we provide in apartment quality, location and price.
